THE GARDEN KEEPS SECRETS !

 This afternoon we went back to the beautiful garden next to the hotel. Three more days of sunshine encouraged new blossoms and there was a mystery to solve.

In the center of the garden is a pond with goldfish. In the center of the pond is a bright yellow sculpture. All week we have been mulling over what that is suppose to be. You take a look at it and let me know what you see. It is really quite curious because there is no sign telling who the artist was or what was being represented. I guess if you lived here then your suppose to just know these things. We asked the visitors to the garden what it was and they didn't know either. It might be my imagination but I think one of the creatures has boobs. No kidding, take a close look.



We looked at this yellow thing for a long time. In summary we think it is two creatures and that is about all we came up with.The larger creature has hooves and the smaller one definitely boobs. We guess they are dancing. What do you think is happening here?

The rest of the garden had been soaking up the sunshine. Enjoy the flowers. Oh by the way, remember the invisible people who come out at night and gather the leaves and weed. Well last night they cleaned all the pigeon and dove poop off those benches.

  Havoc Part #1.  Well……Creating havoc wherever we go!  Seriously,  We are simply trying to order a couple of easy sandwiches at the Miami Airport. I mean how hard can it be…..We go the the Earl of Sandwich, and get in a line. It is in front of a computerized menu board. IS THIS THE RIGHT LINE ???

Some of you are trying to read the blog with a magnifying glass. So I am trying to enlarge the type and make it darker. Not trying to be rude and shouting….just accommodating some sincere requests.  This might be the goofy segment of the flight. We started at 3:30 am and it is 7:30 pm here in Boston. We will board the Azores Airline flight in 2 hours. An hour ago I was seriously wondering if I made the wrong destination choice. It felt like I was in the wrong check in line. There were about 400 people in line to check into Icelandic Airlines next to me.  There were 40 people in my line and most of them residents returning home. Counting me I recognized 5 actual tourists. So these weird thoughts started circulating in my head. Like what if one of the volcanoes erupted and none of you emailed me about it? The islands are actually the tips of volcanoes, some still active, so don’t laugh it could happen. Did I pick the wrong time to visit or has there been some kind of military action…….

Sky Lounge Serenade by Steve Martin impersonator!

  STILL in Miami airport…..but sought refuge at the Delta Sky Lounge. Nice A/C, snacks, way to charge iPad and comfortable chairs. Pretty quiet too except for the guy sitting across from me.  A nice looking elegant older gentleman in a blue blazer top, tan pants, nice luggage and looks a lot like Steven Martin. (Is Steve Martin still alive?) Could be him?  But no mustache, could be a relative? It is very quiet here. He is focused on his cell phone…….holding it close so I know he has vision problems and refusing to wear glasses….He has a plate of salad, cheese and salami in front of him.  I can hardly keep from laughing out loud. The silence here is broken by his belching. I don’t mean once or twice, I mean about a dozen times. Not discrete little ones, loud ones that spoil his sophisticated image.  All the people around me keep looking over at him. It is suppose to be quiet in here.
